The Night of Wishes 2022

More than 120 events are taking place this holiday season all over Athens—all of them are free, of course. The city will light up as never before (and in a radical environmentally friendly way) as tens of the city's squares, main roads, neighbourhoods and landmarks are festively transformed. As for the Athenian sky, you get to light up yourselves by joining the Night of Wishes. On Christmas Eve everyone is invited at Kotzia Square, in front of the Town Hall, to release their wishes to the sky inside the traditional paper lanterns. After you do so, make sure to stick around and join in on the party that follows
