The 24th World Congress of IFFS is coming to Athens in April 2022
An important event in the field of fertility and assisted reproduction will be hosted in Athens, in April 2022. It is the 24th World Congress of IFFS (International Federation of Fertility Societies) with the theme: “Exploring new horizons in fertility care”. Erasmus Conferences & Events S.A. has been selected as the local DMC and will provide local organizational support to the IFFS.
The IFFS World Congress provides a unique platform for attendees to convene, learn and discuss current advances in reproductive health, access to fertility care, and reproductive rights across the globe, and engage the patient perspective. Keynote lectures, panels, and signature trilogy sessions will focus on innovations in male and female infertility, ART, clinical embryology, reproductive genetics, cross-border and third-party reproduction, endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, endoscopic surgery, contraception, gynecological imaging, reproductive environmental health, menopause, and the patient perspective. Renowned international faculty will engage attendees, while free communications and poster sessions offer an opportunity to share cutting edge research and explore new ideas.
Athens has been chosen as a hub of assisted reproductive technologies, since Greece has 48 licensed ART. Greece has become a hub for cross-border reproductive care, due to the liberal legal framework and particularly the application of gamete donation and surrogacy in a well-regulated framework. Furthermore, Greece has top quality researchers in the field of ART who have contributed significantly to the global literature, as well as leading endoscopic surgeons who perform the most demanding endoscopic operations.
Networking with colleagues and patients is a crucial element of the IFFS World Congress, particularly after we have all spent so much time in virtual environments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
