AFEA CEO at the Virtual ECM Summer School!
AFEA Travel and Congress Services CEO, Sissi Lygnou, represented IAPCO (International Association of Professional Congress Organizers) at the virtual version of the ECM Summer School, that took place between 24th to 26th August 2020. Sissi Lignou shared her views on the “PCOs Responsiveness and Best Practices in the Meetings Industry”, focusing on the impact of COVID19, as well as the prompt reaction of PCOs in the new era of Meetings.
ECM Summer School, the flagship event in the Meetings Industry for 33 years was organized for the first time virtually due to the COVID-19 crisis and was renamed to ECM Summer School 2.0. This new edition was tailored for professionals of the industry working in convention bureaux, hotels, PCOs, DMCs, airlines, conference venues, congress centres, convention centres, exhibition centres etc.
