AFEA was the Official PCO of the Advanced European Course on Clinical Tuberculosis of the Karolinska Institute in Athens last October.
The European Advanced Course on Clinical Tuberculosis, organized by the Karolinska Institute in collaboration with the Hellenic Thoracic Society took place in Athens, Greece, on 25-27th of October 2023 at the Royal Olympic Hotel.
The course offered a comprehensive update on clinical care as well as cutting-edge science in the field of TB. Topics included novelties in the diagnosis of TB infection and TB disease, new treatment regimens and treatment among special groups.
The three-day event drew the participation of numerous international speakers and experts from 17 different countries. Notably, this course is hosted in a different European country each year.
