The rapid ''transformation'' from hybrid to virtual of the 76th HAOST Congress by AFEA

With the aim to support the vision of one of the oldest and biggest Scientific Societies of Greece and the continuation of educational and scientific activities as a primary concern, AFEA supported the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (HAOST), in the transformation of the Society's Annual Conference from hybrid to virtual within a very short period of time. The event took place on October 14-17, 2020 at the Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens and was completed with great success.

Four days of full scientific program, 2 studios in high-tech mode, more than 35 scientific hours, more than 200 speakers with physical presence and 400 speakers connecting virtually, more than 300 technical tests and 20 engaged leading sponsor companies, an expert team of more than 35 people and more than 1.200 live attendees, are just a few of the key elements of success. 
The role of AFEA PCO was significant in the rapid transformation of the event from hybrid to virtual, as well as the organization and execution of such a complex and upscale virtual scientific meeting.
