Athens Walking Tours Safety measures!
Even at this very challenging year, Athens Walking Tours continued to offer unique tours and activities to the visitors of Athens (those few who actually managed to travel).
After the end of the first lockdown and the restart of the travel industry, we started operating in May adhering to all health protocols, offering our visitors the opportunity to enjoy a tour of our amazing archaeological sites and unique monuments in a totally enlightening, safe, and enjoyable experience.
Since May 2020, and the re-opening of the most significant and ancient monuments in Europe, the Athens Acropolis and its surrounding archaeological sites and museums, we carried out all our tours every day without a single Covid-19 case or illness.
None of our staff and visitors contracted any virus and they all stayed healthy and safe thanks to the following measures we strictly complied with at the Athens Walking Tours:
- Use of protective masks by our staff and visitors at all times.
- Contactless temperature tests for all our guests & staff.
- Use of antiseptic wipes & gels at all our check-in points and during your tour.
- Use of sanitized ear sets during the tour.
- Contactless procedures wherever possible.
- Regarding transfer services, please note that all vehicles are being sanitized daily and our drivers keep all required safety measures and protocols.
- Practicing strict social distancing thanks to our sanitized ear sets that enable pleasant listening from a distance.
We are hopeful for the future; we are looking forward to it and are planning new activities for our visitors, keeping in mind all the new standards this pandemic has created.
Stay safe and have a merry Christmas with your loved ones!
