Big Olive celebrates technology and expands its team

SuriCon 2022, November 9-11, Athens
Big Olive is selected as the local host of SuriCon Athens 2022, to take place in November at the Grand Hyatt Athens. SuriCon is an annual open source technology community conference that showcases developments related to Suricata, the powerful intrusion and detection tool. SuriCon is hosted by OISF, a team of technology experts and programmers committed to open source security technologies.

LifeBonus, private events & remote working in Athens
In April 2022 our team will host various events for the German-Swiss company LifeBonus. These include private events in multiple locations in and around Athens, as well as assistance in the company’s business development plan for setting up remote working positions for its employees. Lifebonus aims to build a community in Athens, where the team can complete their training as they get the true Athens experience. Big Olive facilitates lodging, potential work spaces, activities, and helps newcomers perceive Athens as both their workplace and home… away from home.

Growing team
Ioanna Liarou joins the team as Events Coordinator. Ioanna has worked with the Benaki Museum, by providing assistance both to events and the Benaki Museum Ghika Gallery Shop. She is currently wrapping up her studies in Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as in Graphic Design at Deree-The American College of Greece. Besides her interest in the arts she is a team member of the SAKA (Athens-Psychico College Alumni Association) monthly publication Ermis.
