Clio Muse Tours adds new destinations and museum collaborations to its portfolio
In the face of the challenging times, Clio Muse Tours managed to expand in a sixth country, create 23 virtual tour experiences and develop a new feature that can be integrated into every audio and virtual tour. Moreover, we collaborated with the Museum of Cycladic Art for the creation of four thematic tours that showcase the museum’s permanent exhibition. We are happy to have expanded our portfolio and our services and we are working on new strategic partnerships with online travel agencies.
Using CREATE, Clio Muse Tours’ authoring tool, The Museum of Cycladic Art created four thematic tours that present its permanent collections to the museums’ visitors. The interactive tours are available on the Clio Muse app and consist of 111 items and 107 stories showcasing 400 exhibits in total. The tours were launched on the 25th of August 2020, marking the successful completion of the project and the beginning of an exciting ongoing collaboration with one of the country’s most renowned museums.
Delegated by GetYourGuide, the Cologne Cathedral self-guided audio tour was completed in three weeks upon commission and was launched on July 6, 2020. Our goal was to make this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site accessible to everyone as fast as possible and at the same time do our part to promote the country’s domestic tourism.
Moreover, our 23 virtual tour experiences, released in the first two weeks of the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020, are available on the world’s largest online marketplaces. We chose our top-rated audio tours and transformed them into virtual tour experiences by combining 360° satellite and street views while our authors’ captivating narrations guide users along the way. We used all the knowledge we’ve acquired through our customers’ comments and clients’ feedback to provide an equally worthy experience for those that can’t travel at the moment.
Clio Muse Educational Quiz is the latest of our developments. A multiple-choice quiz that can be integrated into any of our existing tours. A fun and at the same time educational feature that can be a powerful tool for museums and educational institutions. Our versatile technologies are sustainable and scalable allowing us to expand them with new features. And we love taking advantage of the endless potential that they offer and use them to upgrade the travel experience.
Last but not least, we recently kicked off a partnership with the Headout. Clio Muse Tours already has an established network of partners including Viator, TripAdvisor, Booking.com KLOOK, TUI, Musement, Expedia and Lonely Planet.
