ERA: Happy to be back, determined to keep moving forward
This is more or less how all of us in ERA feel, since the finale of this conference season has been marked with the organization of 2 concurrent big events, a hybrid and a virtual one.
On one hand, the 48th Annual Meeting of the Hellenic Endocrine Society, in Zappeion Megaron, gave us the pleasure to meet again in person with clients, participants, and associates, reminding us why we are all so passionate about this job.
At the same time, the Varicella-Zoster Symposium, broadcasted from a green room studio, allowed us to design for our participants a memorable, interactive 3D experience, giving them a feeling of proximity even though they were viewing us from 34 different countries.

We truly hope that in a few months this whole situation will be over, leaving us with the valuable lesson, that at all times, we need to be creative and flexible. We have learned so many things in such a short time and we owe it to ourselves to put the gained experience into good use and combining, both face-to-face and online components, to move forward towards the new post-Covid era.
