Deep Dives Course in Musculoskeletal Oncology, Limb Salvage and Complex Reconstruction Surgery
In July, we successfully hosted the second edition of the Deep Dives Course in Musculoskeletal Oncology, Limb Salvage and Complex Reconstruction Surgery in Rhodes. The event attracted      leading experts from around the world, fostering valuable knowledge exchange in orthopaedic oncology.

77th IIW Annual Assembly and Conference on Welding and Joining

Also in Rhodes, the prestigious IIW Annual Assembly and International Conference on Welding and Joining held by Erasmus team, marked the first time this event was hosted in Greece. With 600 hundred participants from 45 countries the congress showcased the latest innovations in industrial and technical sectors. A highlight was the recognition of our Director of Operations, Spiros Lianos, with a Certificate of Appreciation by the International Institute of Welding Secretariat for his exceptional support in ensuring the event's success.

Upcoming Congresses

This Autumn, we’re set to engage in a fascinating array of events that span a wide variety of subjects, from medical to mountain rescue, scenography, and seismology, all across Greece and beyond. 

In Corfu, from 22^nd to 27^th of September, Erasmus team will host the 39th General Assembly of the European Seismological Commission, anticipating seismologists from over 60 countries. 

In Athens, from the 3rd to the 5th of October 2024, we’ll host the “1st Athens Symposium on Advanced Imaging in Pediatric and Adult Congenital Heart Disease – State of the Art” dedicated to echocardiography, advanced imaging (Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI), and Fetal Cardiology. A few days later the 9th Athens Elbow Course will follow in Athens, which will delve into the latest in elbow surgery. 

Meanwhile, the first National Conference on Early Intervention in Psychosis, will take place in Nafplio. 

In Thessaloniki, from October 15-20, the World Alpine Rescue Convention (ICAR 2024) will bring global experts together to explore advances in alpine rescue. The congress includes presentations, technical procedures, materials, and first aid, as well as a live rescue demonstration on Mt. Olympus.

For the second time, after 2002, our team has been trusted to host the Production Designers Gathering in Spetses, bringing together top film production designers and students from around the globe for a dynamic program of workshops, panels, communal dinners, receptions, and parties.

Beyond Greece, the 20th Congress of the WPA Epidemiology and Public Health Section will be hosted in Bangkok in 9-11 of October, bringing together experts from all over the world to discuss issues in “Changing environments, well-being and population mental health”.

Our presence will extend to Brisbane, Australia, from October 8-11, where Erasmus will proudly represent the International Society of Limb Salvage, whom we are serving as the core PCO and Association Management Company.
