Kipling Events - Behind the scenes of an AI-focused Global Summit

Earlier this Autumn, Kipling Events was entrusted by India’s leading consulting company to organize an Event for 400 of its associates and thought leaders in Greece. A whirlwind two-day Summit involved beautiful Gala dinners, Keynote conference speakers and even a celebrity guest appearance – all brought to life with the help of Kipling Events! 

Months of finalising every detail was rewarded when the Summit kicked off flawlessly on a mild Athenian autumn day with an interactive AI workshop for delegates followed by a breathtaking Welcome Reception at the hotel. Greeters dressed in traditional Greek “fustanelles” offered guests flowers as they filtered into the space and took in the beautiful music created by a live trio of Jazz musicians. 

The next day delegates were wowed further by an early morning Fitness run at Stavros Niarchos with an exclusive visit by a British world-renowned celebrity athlete! Back at the hotel, a half day of knowledgeable panel speakers awaited delegates. During this time, Kipling Events also organized an engaging and informative Olive Oil tasting with a cooking class for guests not taking part in the conference. In the evening, all delegates were able to choose one of three networking activities: City & Olympics, which included a tour of the National Gardens & the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), City & Myths, a classic tour of the Acropolis and its museum, and City & Sea, where guests were able to sail the Athenian Riviera with a privately chartered yacht. 

All daytime fun was then followed by an impressive Gala dinner at hip waterfront Venue, Ble Pavillon, with a variety of Greek themed musical accompaniments, including a trio of musicians playing traditional Greek instruments such as a bouzouki, an Olympic drumming show, and even a Cellist performing with a vocalist. As safety was a big priority for the client, Kipling Events arranged for an ambulance to be on disposal both at the Fitness Run and the Gala dinner – thankfully, this extra precaution was not utilised, but having this as a possibility allowed for a more relaxed atmosphere and a feeling of comfort for guests.

A busy final day of panels and a Keynote address closed out what was undeniably another successful, productive, and entertaining Summit with the local support of exceptional vendors coordinated by Kipling Events. Partners were able to take part in an exclusive shopping tour in the centre of Athens before all 400 guests departed from Athens International Airport and bid goodbye to sunny Greece filled with new lifelong memories.
