Metropolitan DMC & Event Management: Preparing to restart

Metropolitan DMC & Event Management was thrilled to take part in Travel Trade Athens 2021! In what is still a very challenging and uncertain time, it was extremely useful and very uplifting to connect with industry planners and associations. Solid new contacts were made and we felt the quality of buyers was excellent and very relevant.

What came through loud & clear was the significant pent up demand for in-person events, and buyer confidence that these will return stronger than ever. At the same time, there was a lot of interest in initiatives around sustainability, waste reduction and community support through events in the destination. These themes are very close to our hearts at Metropolitan DMC and we are already putting new partnerships in place to incorporate these initiatives into our clients’ programmes. More news on these will soon be available as we prepare to restart and present our clients with a selection of fresh & innovative concepts!
