Metropolitan DMC & Event Management: Rewarding Experiences

Our aim is to create, plan and deliver events which thrill and inspire. The best reward is when the outcome is equally inspiring for our team. At two recent events delivered in Athens, we elevated the experience beyond all expectations by incorporating support for the vulnerable in our local community. 

The first was a corporate event for an EMEA audience, in the heart of Athens. Each day was packed with business sessions, but the event culminated in two unusual, local Greek experiences.

We created an activity where delegates experienced the hustle and bustle of an Athenian neighbourhood farmers’ market: delegates used their newly acquired Greek language skills to procure a selection of fresh produce marked in Greek on their shopping lists, which was then donated to a local soup kitchen tasked with feeding over 200 people a day. 

On the final evening, vintage 1950s buses whisked everyone to dinner at a private venue with stunning Acropolis views, with white-gloved waiters offering a chilled glass of bubbly on board.
