EuroSun 2020 & ICEGOV 2020: New virtual conferences by Convin
The new era in conferences demands from the PCOs changes and flexibility, to protect participants, speakers and sponsors. Following the latest news on COVID-19, CONVIN responded immediately to the new requirements by converting two very important conferences from physical to virtual, ensuring the same high-level conference experience.
The 13th International Conference on Solar Energy for Buildings and Industry, is the leading professional forum for Researchers, Developers, Investors and students in the field of renewable energy industry and more specifically to Solar Energy appliances and innovations.
The conference was held virtually online, during 1-3 of September 2020, with the presence of almost 300 participants. It was organized by the International Solar Energy Society (ISES) and the Cyprus University of Technology, co-organised by the University of West Attica and supported by the Solar Heating & Cooling Programme of the International Energy Agency (SHC).
ICEGOV 2020, the United Nations’ International Conference on Digital Governance, will take place in Greece. This year’s conference has been shifted, for the first time, from a physical conference to a virtual one, taking place between 23 – 25 of September 2020, jointly organised by the University of the Aegean, the Harokopio University of Athens and the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV).
About 200 abstracts were submitted for the 13th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance, and more than 300 participants are expected - experts, executives and officials from both the Private and the Public Sector of at least 50 countries will participate.
