Beyond Boundaries International Conference in Budapest
In the ancient city of Budapest, This is Athens – Convention & Visitors Bureau proudly participated in the CityDNA International Conference & General Assembly 2025 (City Destinations Alliance), held from April 9–11.
During the event, we explored how major European cities manage tourism with sustainability in mind, integrate technology and artificial intelligence to optimize their destination strategies, and enhance smooth, responsible travel experiences for both visitors and locals.
Representing Athens’ commitment to innovation, inclusive tourism governance, and strategic international partnerships, our participation strengthened valuable networks and brought fresh insights to support our mission in positioning Athens as a smart, sustainable, and globally connected destination.
