36th International Congress of the Hellenic Society of Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery 2022

"We are pleased to invite you to the 36th International Congress of the Hellenic Society of Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery, which is scheduled to take place on 10-13 March 2022, at the Megaron Athens International Conference Center.

The annual conference of the Hellenic Society of Intraocular Implant and Refractive Surgery returns to its base and to the well-known appointment with the participants at the beginning of spring. In the last two years, our Congress has changed its form, dates and venues, in order to adapt in the best way to the special circumstances of each period. So, after the summer virtual 34th Congress and the autumn hybrid 35th Congress in Thessaloniki, the 36th Congress returns to Athens in early March.

As every year, the scientific program will include lectures by distinguished ophthalmologists from around the world, such as Renato Ambrosio, Jorge Alió, Arthur Cummings, Simonetta Morselli, Filomena Ribeiro, Mohamed Shafik and Harminder Dua, who is also the recipient of the Fyodorov Award 2022.

Free papers, video presentations, e-posters, wetlabs, near live surgeries, instructional courses and round table discussions on the latest developments in cataract and refractive surgery are the backbone of the scientific program. While, great emphasis will be given to the treatment of refractive errors, presbyopia and corneal pathologies.
