The 4th ARTience International Voice Conference is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens.
It aims to shed light on unexplored areas of vocal art that could become fields of further research, to map the educational landscape, and to highlight the diversity of the vocal instrument and singing.
In order to achieve a comprehensive mapping of the educational model, contemporary sciences dealing with the human voice will be presented, and their importance in vocal education will be explored.
At the same time, the conference aims to promote and communicate the establishment of the newly formed Hellenic Voice Teachers Association.
The necessity of founding this Association was highlighted during the 3rd Conference, and ARTience by PhonoQuest took on the responsibility of establishing the HΕVTA, demonstrating its commitment to creating a diverse and interactive community that will promote education, research, and issues concerning professional voice.
A significant achievement and recognition of the efforts to strengthen vocal pedagogy in Greece is the participation of the President of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Dr. Alexis Davis-Hazell, in a welcoming address for the establishment of the Hellenic Voice Teachers Association.
The NATS President will discuss the work of NATS, presenting the benefits it offers to its members and emphasizing the importance of networking and professional development for voice teachers worldwide.
On the second day of the conference, two prominent professors and researchers in the field of voice, American Kerrie Obert and British Janice Chapman, will conduct two unique seminars with practical application.
This will provide the Greek audience with cutting-edge knowledge and the opportunity to meet two legends of vocal education.
