Davis Cup World Group I

Athens welcomes the prestigious Davis Cup, the World Cup of Tennis® with the official support of the City of Athens. 

Davis Cup is the world's largest annual international team competition for tennis, run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the world governing body of the sport. 

The Greek capital is set to host the World Group I with the matches between Greece and Slovakia, taking place between 16-17 September 2023 in the Panathenaic Stadium of Athens. 

The list of tennis legends to have competed in Davis Cup over the years includes all of the game's most well-known names, with the competition providing a unique team environment in an otherwise individual sport.
