The Former Public Tobacco Factory is better known these days as a cultural venue. Built in 1930, the impressive industrial spaces with large glass ceilings was listed as an historic monument in 1989. In 2021, over 6,500 square-metres of the industrial landmark were transformed into a major art space for exhibitions organized by NEON. Owned by the Hellenic Parliament, it also houses the Parliament Library and Printing House and serves as a fine example of interwar architecture. Don't miss the chance to get inside and admire the soaring atrium the next time the building opens to the public. The pastel-hued façade is also eye-catching.
