Athens in the Press
Did you know that you can go bird-watching in Athens? The city’s bird population is particularly diverse and it’s likely to spot—or at least, hear—parrots in Athens, as wild colonies have been spotted in many of the city’s parks. Pay a visit at the National Garden, the Lycabettus Hill, the Philopappou Hill, the Kifissos Delta for a city centre excursion or drive up to Mount Ymittos, Antonis Tritsis Park, Schinias Reserve, Mount Parnitha, the Vravrona Estuary if you are in for a day-trip.
