100 years Philolaos: The maquettes
Philolaos Tloupas, or simply Philolaos, was a Greek sculptor who worked mainly in France. His public monuments, mainly of stainless steel and cement, have a dynamic shape incorporating a sense of movement. Philolaos collaborated with architects and town planners to create sculptures and fountains that adorn the public urban environment, works that earned him many awards and accolades throughout his life. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth, P gallery | sculpture presents the maquettes of monumental artworks that he created in France during the second half of the twentieth century. Εxhibited for the first time in Greece, they are works of art in their own right.
Catch sight of his creative process at this exclusive exhibition.
