18th Comicdom Con Athens 2024

Grab your superhero cape or your favourite gaming tee and join the crowds at this year's Comicdom Con Athens. It's a geek's paradise in the heart of the city, with panels, workshops, a bustling artists' alley and enough merch to make Tony Stark jealous. Now in its 18th year, Comicdom Con Athens presents an exclusive exhibition of original manga artwork, showcasing the medium's rich history and diverse artistic styles through 37 captivating original pages that represent a spectrum of genres and influential artists. Furthermore, the Make Mine Manga exhibition features artwork by some of Japan's most influential creators. There is also a 27-panel exhibition paying tribute to Hugo Pratt, one of the first to bring a literary aura to comics. Last but not least, Dragon Ball is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Following the tragic news of the death of its creator, Akira Toriyama, the planned exhibition has taken on a commemorative feel, with 15 Greek illustrators paying tribute to the hugely influential franchise.
