For the first time in the world of opera, two rarely performed masterpieces are being presented together. The Greek National Opera invites you to explore the depths of the human psyche with a captivating double bill featuring Rachmaninoff’s Aleko and Bartók’s Bluebeard’s Castle. These extraordinary one-act operas, composed at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, delve into the emotional and psychological complexities of the human experience as few works do. Aleko is directed by the renowned Fanny Ardant, while the talented Themelis Glynatsis takes the helm for Bluebeard’s Castle.
