Athens Pride 2022: Unconditional

A week celebrating acceptance, visibility, inclusivity, equality and above all else, love. Unconditionally. Athens Pride 2022 is after safer spaces and claims 16 points around the city turning them into platforms of unrestricted artistic expression. It’s been quite some time since we last planned out a proper queer fiesta and we’ve so missed the rainbow flag waving down our main streets. Even if 2021’s parade did take place (and to remarkable success considering how hastily it was announced) and was a crucial breath of life and hope amidst the dark times of the pandemic, we can’t help but miss the whole he/she/theybang. Athens Pride Week 2022 is on for June 10-17 with a programme that includes exhibitions, screenings, performances, parties and talks  all around the city. The grand finale and the parade will take place on the 18th followed by a live music show downtown.
