Purple Night

Athens' nightlife is not similar to any other city's. Sure, New York may never sleep, Paris can be all sorts of illuminated, but Athens has a 3.000 year old history of having fun when other cities call it a night. Athenian youth know not to stray from the path our ancestors built, partying well into the morning, no matter the season. The LGBTQI+ crowd of Athens has created a strong nightlife community where acceptance and equality triumph. Purple Night is a series of parties that take place in various spots around Athens and is lead by DJs The Dreamer, Wrapped in Plastic and Dennis D'or. The parties take place on Saturday nights but you'll have to keep in touch with their Facebook events for the exact dates. If you happen to be in town and are in the mood for a feel good club night, we feel you'd look great in purple.
