As we bid farewell to the festive glow of Christmas and step into the dawn of a new year, let the magic of music continue to resonate within us. The Olympia Municipal Theatre ensures that the festive spirit is kept alive with a marvellous Opera Gala. At the beginning of the French Revolution and at the turn of the 19th century, Paris attracted many Italians who composed in the French style of the "grand opéra". Catherine Hunold, acclaimed for her portrayal of Soeur Béatrice in Dimitri Mitropoulos' opera, and Dmitry Korchak with his enchanting tenor performances together with the illustrious bass player Riccardo Fassi promise to carry us off into a world of exquisite melodies, with arias and ensembles from operas by Spontini, Cherubini, Rossini, Donizetti and Verdi.
