SNFCC Cosmos: Christian Löffler & Ergon Ensemble
Christian Löffler is no stranger to Athens. The very timid and very active German producer has visited Athens quite a lot in the past few years, popping by with every new album release - that's five albums in six years. Having played in Greek electronic music festivals like ADD and Plisskën and booked one-off gigs in Athens' best dancefloors, it's time for Löffler to take on Greece's leading contemporary music ensemble, the Ergon Ensemble, for a genre-clashing performance at the SNFCC as part of their Cosmos series. Löffler will perform his latest album, Parallels: Shellac Reworks, in which he reworked classic pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Wagner, Smetana and Bizet in his trademark downtempo style.
