Edouard Sacaillan: Les Toits de Paris
Artists have long sought to capture light in a natural way. Aware of this, Kalfayan Galleries welcomes for the very first time Edouard Sacaillan and his solo exhibition Les toits de Paris (The rooftops of Paris). Hailing from the vibrant cities of Athens and Paris, Sacaillan is known for his distinctive artistic language, “a compelling blend of honesty and poetry." At the core of his artistic fascination lies the study of light, which is echoed in his artworks. In his latest series, the artist invites viewers into his dream realm, a kaleidoscopic parade featuring “spectators, clowns, car drivers, and swimmers.” Immerse yourself in Sacaillan's dreamlike universe, then hit up the chic cafes in Kolonaki for a dive into the area’s artsy buzz.
