Emma Shapplin Live in Athens

Athens can’t seem to get enough of sensual songbird Emma Shapplin. Organisers had to add a second date after the French soprano’s back-by-popular-demand rendezvous at the Galatsi Olympic Hall sold out. Since her 1997 debut album Carmine Mio, fans worldwide have been swept away by Shapplin’s distinctive cross-over blend of opera and pop, all wrapped up with those emotion-soaked vocals and that angelic visage. Move fast, people.
