Evanescence & YONAKA
We can hear you wondering: “Evanescence, who? Are they still around?”. Well, yup. The once upon a time 00’s nu-metal superstars are back after a 10 year hiatus. Amy Lee, the band’s charismatic frontwoman, decided to bring Evanescence (back) to life and reinvent them. Don’t fret, however. Their trademark goth sound is still there. Judging from their last, pre-pandemic shows, so are their remarkable live show energy and Lee’s spellbinding voice. The band will perform songs from their 2021 release, The Bitter Truth, along with some of their greatest hits at Petra Theatre in early June, just one of the big rock and metal names that are dropping by Athens this summer.
