Festive Light Installations at SNFCC

If fairylights and mistletoe don’t jingle your bells, the futuristic festive light spectacle at Stavros Niarchos Park is sure to. Following on from the huge popularity of previous year’s exhibits, SNFCC ushers in the 2021 Christmas season with four new interactive installations from Greece and around the world that are waiting to light up your Instagram and your spirits, as they tango with the boundaries between colour and motion.

Follow the routes of light generated by Jen Lewin’s natural symmetry-inspired Aqueous in the Great Lawn. It’s designed to respond to human movements.

Continue your walk towards the Pine Grove and meet the Living Lantern by NEON and Frankie Boyle Studio. This kinetic work merges light, colour and form, and inspires many mindful reflections.

From there, let the glow of Studio Toer’s Firefly Field lead you to the Dome, where you’ll encounter the heavenly spectacle of a grid aflame with hundreds of suspended moving lights.

Lastly, walk along the path to the Lighthouse, illuminated by Beforelight’s Crop Circles, as they spring up from the Green Roof like a mystical miracle.
