Now, make her a legendary safekeeper of Greek folk music in the 20th century. Her work on preserving and spreading Greek dimotika (folk) music to the world is unparalleled. The fact that she never stopped reaching out to younger generations, makes her gift even more invaluable. For a second year the SNFCC honours the greak Greek singer and musicologist with a two-day celebration featuring 24 traditional music ensembles from all over Greece.
