Guy Manoukian with Antonis Remos

If pushed to describe the signature sound of international concert pianist and composer Guy Manoukian, we’d probably go with “free-wheeling”. You’ll hear Lebanese and Armenian flavours in there; that’s his heritage coming through - but there are western dance beats and funky riffs popping up all over the place too. It all makes for an electric listening experience. “I live in Lebanon, speak Arabic, love the music of Warda and Fairuz, but at the same time I love Chris de Burgh, Duran Duran and Coldplay,” Manoukian has said. The veteran musical artist has played gigs everywhere from the London Palladium to Sydney Opera House and will now perform for the first time in Greece at the Stavros Niarchos Centre Cultural Foundation. Listen out for a cameo from his good buddy Antonis Remos.
