Hooverphonic
Trouble is their middle name, but in the end they're not too bad. Hooverphonic are responsible for one of the greatest radio hits in Greece—among other countries—one that we we'll never get tired of listening to. But that's not just it; the Belgians have a terrific discography of downtempo pop going back 25 years. Many of their fans were disappointed when original singer Geike Arnaert left the band in 2008, and then startled when 17-year-old Luka Cruysberghs took over in 2018—Hooverphonic’s Alex Callier was Cruysberghs’ coach in The Voice of Flanders where she sang “Mad About You” in the finals. Big shoes have been filled and the band is back for good, touring Europe and also performing for Belgium in the Eurovision song contest 2020. Sway away to their melodic pop as they stop by Athens for a one off show at Fuzz.
