Imagine you wake up and there is no Internet
You wake up one day to find there’s no Internet. Dream come true or living nightmare? Something in-between? We suppose it depends on what kind of lockdown you've had (or are still having!). Either way, here’s a sharp exhibition that mines the fallout of our 24-7 connectivity. Starting from our obsession with digital technologies – and showcasing various scenarios from the present time to near future (so, your basic Black Mirror timeline) - it’s bound to bolster the ever-simmering debate and unease about the coexistence of human and machine in the 21st century. Organised by One Plant Production, staged at cool culture hub Romantso, and supported by the always brilliant Neon non-profit art foundation, we can’t guarantee you’ll sleep soundly after this thought-provoking show, but we can promise a top class ride for the mind (and a Covid-savvy experience).
