Jazz at the Museum 2023
Late autumn weather, cosy jazz, and contemporary art. What more to ask for? Another season of Jazz at the Museum starts at the B&E Goulandris Foundation, a series that has been going strong since 2019. Titled Visual Journeys: A series of jazz concerts with improvisation and visual projection, the program is set to kick off on November 10th. The opening act features the Alex Dante Duet of guitarist Alex Dante and drummer Manolis Giannikios. The duet’s jazz improvisations on Sergei Rachmaninoff’s music will be the soundtrack to a screening of Thimios Bakatakis’ short film Vocalise. There's more to look forward to: on December 8th, the Filippou & Lucaciu Duet will perform next to Natalia Manta’s visual art installations. Keep an eye on this page as more acts get announced in the upcoming months.
