Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival 2021 - Hybrid Edition
Imagine more than 46.000 people flocking to a single location over a 3-day-period. If numbers like these make the hair on the back of your neck stand up with fear of social distancing, take a deep breath and put on some jazz music. We won't be jumping back to pre-pandemic reality that fast, but since the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to show, we can welcome our festivals again.
The Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival returns this year for its 20th edition in a hybrid manner. You've probably heard this term a lot this past year, we know. In this case, it means that the organizers are doing everything they can to physically host the festival at Technopolis under all security measures that will be in effect at the end of May, while also providing the full experience online—and as always, for free. ATJF2021 will take place on the 28-30 May, while measures for the return of outdoor music, theatre and dance performances have been announced for the 28th. We hope that will somehow translate into early summer breezy nights under starry skies with a live jazz soundtrack. Yes, we will take socially distanced seating concerts over no concerts at any time. Our patience has been renewed to the mere idea of the trumpet sound. Check the schedule below as we await for updates on the physical attendance:
