Jo Nesbo at the Olympia Municipal Music Theatre
Have you heard of Nordic Noir? In recent years, several acclaimed crime fiction writers come from Scandinavian countries, their works translated into several languages and becoming popular around the world. Among them, Norwegian writer Jo Nesbo is an international sensation in the realm of crime and mystery fiction, his ruthless detective Harry Hole, a crime fan favourite alongside Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot and James Patterson's Alex Cross. The acclaimed writer of best-seller The Snowman will talk about his creative process, present his latest book Killing Moon and greet his fans at the Olympia Theatre in an event sanctioned by the City of Athens, the Royal Norwegian Embassy and Metaichmio Publications. Entrance is free but you need a priority ticket; watch this space for updates on when tickets will become available. If you’re up for a different side of Norwegian culture, check modern-day Vikings Wardruna playing at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
