Megaron Spring Festival 2024
Join Athenians in welcoming spring at the Athens Concert Hall. The Megaron Spring Festival is back for another season, promising classical music lovers a week of spectacular concerts.
Things kick off on April 8 with the Quartetto d'Archi della Scala that will be joined by talented pianist Alasdair Beatson for a performance of César Franck's stirring Quintet, arguably one of the most impressive romantic piano quintets.
On April 9, renowned Cologne Cathedral organist Winfried Bönig will dazzle audiences with his masterful interpretations of works by Bach, Vierne and Liszt.
Mark your calendars for April 16, when violinist Janine Jansen and pianist Denis Kozhukhin make their triumphant return to the Megaron.
For the festival's grand finale on April 20, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe will perform mega-classics such as Beethoven's masterful Fourth Symphony, paired with works by renowned Greek composers, a fascinating perspective from the esteemed conductor Constantinos Carydis.
