Musical Summer at SNFCC 2023

This is the news you’ve been wanting to hear. The dates and acts for the free open-air music festivals of the SNFCC (that’s Parklife and Music Escapades) have been announced. This year's lineup is a glorious one and embraces a diverse range of genres, including hip-hop, powerful electronica, and Afro-Cuban jazz.

The Music Escapades series is your chance to discover some of the finest up-and-coming Greek music acts at the Panoramic Steps of the SNFCC. 

7 July: Catch Nalyssa Green, one of the hottest representatives of Greek dream pop and singer-songwriter Melentini, who’ll be performing her hazy repertoire in both English and Greek. 

15 September: Greek hip hop performers EXPE and Chara will take the stage and challenge the genre’s male-dominated stereotypes.

6-8 October: In Orbit v.4 is a three-day festival that focuses on the hip hop, electro and rock local scenes with acts such as IDM-wunderkind Autow Nite Superstore and rising indie-rock songstress Amalia & the Architects. 

Parklife welcomes all to the Great Lawn for free live music concerts by top-notch leading acts. 

14 July: The man behind a whole genre (Big Beat), countless classics across various other genres, and one of the most epic seaside parties ever, Fatboy Slim, is coming to town for a free entrance party. 

2 September: The Senegalese band Orchestra Baobab, known for their Afro-Cuban fusion vibes, will turn the centre’s Great Lawn into a summer dancefloor.

Last but not least, SNFCC hosts the Sunset DJ sets. Beloved DJs who have made an impact on Athens' music scene take to the decks every Wednesday at 8 pm at the Lighthouse, the highest point of the SNFCC.
