A Night at the Museum: Faux Finissage
“What if women ruled the world?” This thought-provoking question has been the driving force behind a powerful series of art exhibitions hosted by the National Museum of Contemporary Art over recent months. The imagined answer? A world that looks and feels like an art museum—an idea this special "night at the museum" event brings vividly to life. Presented as a faux finissage for the series, which has showcased works by female artists, this 12-hour programme invites women to take over the museum.
The night kicks off with the opening of Portraits by Maria Cyber, followed by an immersive performance throughout the museum by Grace Schwindt, a concert by Céline Gillain presenting her latest album, a DJ set by Greece’s own DJ Fo, and, after midnight, captivating projections.
