Platforms Project 2024
Athens can be an overwhelming place for aesthetes, especially with its rich historical legacy intertwined with contemporary artistic expression. That’s why we cherish the moments when it all comes together in an art fair, uniting creative forces from across the city and beyond. This year marks the 12th consecutive Platforms Project - Independent Art Fair, showcasing 900 artists from 61 platforms across 25 countries. The Platforms Project is dedicated to highlighting the dynamic independent artistic scene through artist-run initiatives. Directed by Artemis Potamianou and Michalis Argyrou, this year's event features a free admission rich program of speeches, videos, and performances from a diverse array of participating groups, all held at the imposing Former Public Tobacco Factory.
To enter the Tobacco Factory, it is necessary to show a police ID or passport or other valid public identification document issued by a national or foreign administrative authority.
