Primer Presents Paul Kalkbrenner, Hosh
Primer’s first announcement of the year is something many party people out there have been eagerly waiting for. The news is out and it’s big: Paul Kalkbrenner lands at the Tae Kwon Do Stadium in Palio Faliro. The German superstar, whose career spans over two decades, is amongst the few contemporary electronic music producers who have managed to introduce techno to a mainstream audience to such a successful extent. If, for some reason, you’ve managed to remain unfamiliar with his sound and overall style, check out the fascinating 2008 film Berlin Calling, soundtracked by Kalky himself.
Sharing the stage are fellow-German DJ HOSH and local hero DJ Nick JoJo. More into melodic dance grooves? Iceland’s Janus Rasmussen makes his debut in Athens on the very same night.
