The Bolshoi Ballet Live: Raymonda
Don't you just hate it when your fiancé leaves for battle and a mysterious stranger—who also happens to be a gorgeous Saracen knight—you have only dreamt of, happens to be in town? This is more or less Raymonda's dilemma and the theme of Marius Petipa’s masterful choreography that dates back to 1898. Bolshoi legend Yuri Grigorovich takes on this three act ballet scored by Alexander Glazunov at the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre. The Athens Concert Hall will be in direct broadcast in service of the Athenian crowd who want to stroll through Hungarian courtyards and enjoy a challenging title role, written for first-rate ballerinas.
