Release Athens Festival 2025: Dream Theater

We bet metalheads remember the day Mike Portnoy, the legendary drummer and founding member of Dream Theater, rejoined the band. Known not only for his awe-inspiring drumming but also as a key creative force during the band’s golden years, his return to the band was followed by a reunion of the original lineup and sparked immense anticipation for their next tour.

Dream Theater is now set to celebrate 40 years of a groundbreaking presence which has left an indelible mark on the progressive metal scene. With their most spectacular show yet on the horizon, the release of "Night Terror," the first single from their upcoming 16th album Parasomnia (out February 7, 2025), has already sent waves of excitement through their devoted fanbase.

Greek fans, who have followed the band’s evolution over four decades of exceptional talent and creativity, will finally witness the legendary lineup—Petrucci, Portnoy, Myung, Labrie, and Rudess—united on stage once again.
