Release Festival 2022: Iggy Pop, Liam Gallagher, Sleaford Mods, The K's, The Noise Figures

Roughly 20,000 thousand people were leaving Water Plaza back in summer 2019 wondering "how he does that." Iggy Pop, that is. The 74-year-old animated punk put on an unforgettable show last time he visited Athens and he's coming back for an encore. Release Festival has us marking dates down for summer 2022; 12 dates to be exact that stretch throughout June and July, with more than 40 performing acts. Former Oasis frontman and overall "real bloke" Liam Gallagher will share the stage with Iggy Pop. Sleaford Mods, Iggy's favourite band, and British indie rockers The K's complete the day's line up. If you're planning on visiting Athens for the summer and feel like checking out how Greeks do concerts, you should check out Release Festival's combined discounted tickets for different days.
