Saramago 100 at Greek Film Archive
The Saramago 100 festival is presented by the Portuguese Embassy in Greece and the Greek Film Archive, with the support of the Cames Institute. The four-day tribute to José Saramago, winner of the 1998 Nobel Prize in Literature, aims to introduce us to his life and work. His work has been translated into 25 languages and adapted for the big screen while his characters have been embodied by big names such as Julianne Moore and Jake Gyllenhaal.
