Saturday in the Acropolis Museum with 20+1 Masterpieces
Some might say that the Acropolis Museum’s incredible trove of sculptures, ceramics and other treasures, gathered together from our legendary Parthenon, speak for themselves.
But they’ve possibly never had the pleasure of seeing them through the expert eyes of an archaeologist. The Acropolis Museum knows that it’s that time of year again when we start seeking out indoor entertainment on the weekends; so as part of their winter season programme, they’ve called upon their band of archaeologists to escort visitors on Saturday morning guided tours to unearth the hidden stories of 20+1 of their favourite masterpieces.
Accompany these seasoned souls as they uncover the myths and fables, folklores and traditions, historical milestones and human stories woven into the museum’s stunning exhibits on a memorable 90-minute walk through the marble viewing galleries of this world-class facility.
To sign up, visit the Information Desk on the day of the tour. Limited to 30 visitors. First-in first-served. Make sure to read about the Acropolis Museum's Covid-19 health protocols before you go.
