The Sisters of Mercy
If you ever danced by yourself in the dark through an entire album as an angsty teen in the 80s, chances are it was to The Sisters of Mercy. The goth overlords from Leeds, England, are playing one gig in Athens at the Gazi Music Hall. Go for the thrill of hearing bombastic frontman Andrew Eldritch (a man who once described himself as "Kierkegaard meets Elvis") reprise dark rock anthems such as "Alice", "Temple Of Love", "Marian", "This Corrosion" and "Lucretia My Reflection". Go for the excuse to slap on the black eyeliner. Either way, it'll be emotional.
