We are Stardust
"We really are all stardust, and someday we will return to the stars".
How fascinating the universe and its mysteries. Mankind has always gazed at the stars, trying to make sense of it all. For the past 20 years, the Eugenides Foundation New Digital Planetarium has been helping visitors reach for the night sky and what lies beyond. To mark its 20th anniversary, the planetariums’ new show, We are Stardust, looks back on its previous productions. Screened onto the centre’s Dome, the digital show features unreleased music by legendary composer Vangelis Papathanasiou and is narrated by the late, great Dionysios Simopoulos, Honorary Director of the Eugenides Planetarium and a dear friend of Papathanasiou. The love child of these two great men of science and art, this show is also dubbed in English and is suitable for everyone over the age of ten. Definitely one of the best family outings of the season, so grab your little ones and head for the stars.
